Basic performance of blankets

(1) Conformal property

The ability of a blanket to resist deformation during use.

(2) Water filtration property

This is the most basic performance of papermaking blankets. Indicates the difficulty of water passing through a blanket under a certain pressure.

(3) Surface properties

It refers to the smooth and even surface of the blanket.

These three properties of papermaking blankets are their basic properties, among which "strength" and "water filtration" determine the lifespan of the blanket, and "surface properties" affect the smoothness of the paper output. These three factors are interdependent, and we cannot only pursue one aspect of performance while neglecting or reducing the other two aspects. A high-quality paper-making blanket should be the optimal combination of the three.
