Batt fiber modules consist of: regular fiber layer (Figure 5), high elasticity fiber layer (Figure 6), hairfreeness fiber layer (Figure 7), wear-resistance fiber layer (Figure 8), anti-rewetting fiber layer, ultra-smooth fiber layer (Figure 9), high dehydration fiber layer module (Figure 10), and so on.
For the fine paper required high surface quality (i.e. sheet smoothness and non-marking), the upper base fabric layer uses no marking base fabric module, and fine batt fiber uses ultra-smooth fiber layer module in our laminated base fabric felt. So that the pressure distribution in the pressure nip is more uniform when the press felt pass through the press nip (Figure 11 illustrates press felt assembled no marking base fabric module; Figure 12 illustrates Press felt assembled regular base fabric module.).
For the press felt required high line force in the press nip, anti-high line force base fabric module is used in the multi-axial laminated base weave felt. Number of layers of the base fabric is determined according to the specific line force and the required void volume of the felt. For the fine paper required high surface quality, the upper base fabric layer uses no marking base fabric module (figure 14 shows double layer base fabric felt, figure 15 shows three layer base fabric felt, figure 16 shows laminated felt assembled no marking base fabric module), and fine batt fiber uses curl high elasticity fiber layer module in the felt. So this type of felt has an excellent compaction resistance.
For the felt required high dewater performance, base fabric layer uses high dehydration and anti-contamination base fabric module (Figure 17), and batt fiber layer uses high dehydration fiber layer module. So this kind of felt has an excellent dewater property (Figure 18).
Some paper defects such as felt marking, two-sideness properties of paper surface, shadow marking (caused by grooves in grooved roll, holes in suction, or blind drilled rolls), can be canceled through reasonable configuration different base fabric modules and batt fiber layer modules. Through reasonable configuration different base fabric modules and batt fiber layer modules will enable our press felt having different advantages as following: fast start up, removing vibration in press nip, non sheet stealing, stable running, high sheet dryness, or long running life.
